In 1928, Westminster College began collecting newspaper articles about its activities, faculty, and students. The articles were first placed in scrapbooks, then photocopied and placed in binders. The earlier compilations were microfilmed as part of the collection entitled Westminster College Communications Department newspaper clipping and scrapbooks, 1928-1997 (ACC-081). Between 1999 and 2003 the Office of Communications continued to collect copies of articles with news of Westminster College published in various newspapers. Since 2004, a variety of publications, newsletters, and updates have been posted on the Westminster College Office of Communications website. In 2013 the office, under new leadership, was renamed Office of Marketing and Communications.
