Description The Western Federation of Watercolor Societies is a collective partnership amongst several Watercolor Societies in the Western United States. Every year this federation sponsors an annual juried exhibition of collage and water-based media. The fourteenth annual watercolor exhibition was hosted by the West Texas Watercolor Society at the Museum of Texas Tech University. The exhibition was dedicated to the memory of Millard Sheets (1907-1989). Mario Cooper and Tom Lynch juried the show and selected 86 paintings out of 951 entries.The Best of Show award winner was Universal Dwellings:Chrysalis II by Donna Graf, a member of the San Diego Watercolor Society. The David Dale Memorial award winner was Rock Fish in Camouflage by Nancy Carr, a member of the West Texas Watercolor Society. The president of the West Texas Watercolor Society was Jo Beth Gilliam.
