Description The Western Federation of Watercolor Societies is a collective partnership amongst several Watercolor Societies in the Western United States. Every year this federation sponsors an annual juried exhibition of collage and water-based media. The twelfth annual exhibition was hosted by San Antonio Watercolor Group at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Tom Nicolas and Edward Peep juried the show and selected 84 paintings out of 692 entries. The Best of the Show award winner was Seamstress II by J.D.M. Wellborn, a member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society. The Award of Excellence winners were South Padre by Pat Deadman and Flower Parade by Marie Renifro.
