Image of Brick Trip Around the World quilt created in 1930-1940 by Unknown quilter. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Gunnell, Marie as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. The fabrics appear to be cotton broadcloth and "factory" or muslin. The construction pattern is similar to "Trip Around the World" but uses the Brick Patch block. One corner is unlike the other corners in that the blocks are pink, muslin, lavendar, yellow, rather than pink, muslin, yellow, and lavendar. Diagonal quilting lines have been marked with spacing of 1 3/4 in. to 2 in. |
