Description Image of Hawaiian quilt created in 1894 by several Hawaiian natives. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by DeEtte R. Berg as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. Estimated date of fabric in quilt 1894; in 1894 when Matthew and Libbie were completing their last mission in the islands and preparing to return to Salt Lake City, the native Hawaiians made quilts for them. One quilt was made for Libbie, one for her daughter, Vera and this one was given to her daughter, Nora
