Image of Lone star quilt created in 1942 by Zina Larsen Hill. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Victoria Ann Witesman as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. Quilt maker pieced quilt tops for $5 each, and made 5 for Ruth Sorensen. This quilt used scraps from Ruth's daughters' dresses, and Ruth did the quilting. Passed from Ruth to daughter and then to granddaughter (present owner) |
