Dr Saffle received is undergraduate and medical degrees (1976) from the University of Chicago. Dr Saffle completed his residency training in surgery as well as a fellowship in burn care at the University of Utah. Dr Saffle joined the faculty of the School of Medicine in 1982. Dr Saffle was Director of the Burn-Trauma ICU from 1985-2012. Dr Saffle is past-President of the American Burn Association and the Southwestern Surgical Congress. Dr Saffle currently serves as Director of the Department of Telemedicine for the University of Utah Health Center. Dr Saffle is Emeritus Professor of Surgery. |
