Tells of plans to go into the real estate business with George Thatcher and George W. Thatcher, Jr., but to stay in the insurance business also, so he can make money for their future. They are planning to build their new home with money given to Nellie by her father and mother. Becomes upset when she does not reciprocate with letters as lengthy and the same quantity as his. Scolds her for not sending house plans so they can get started building. The House of Representatives is still in session due to the governor who is blocking all measures of importance.
