Description Infectious meningitis often produces an increase in intracranial pressure (ICP) and severe papilledema. Visual loss from unrecognized papilledema is a common cause of nonreversible visual loss in meningitis. Cryptococcal meningitis is one of the most frequently cause. Herein, we report two cases of papilledema associated with cyptococcal meningitis in immunocompetent patients.
