Description Previous reports have associated palinopsia or visual perseverations with structural lesions of the brain, illicit drug use, medications, and seizure disorders. Palinopsia can also occur in otherwise healthy individuals. Most cases of palinopsia due to visual pathways lesions have an associated hemianopic visual field defect. To our knowledge, there are no previous reports in the peer-reviewed literature describing palinopsia with structural lesions of the visual pathways in the absence of visual field defects. We describe two such cases.
