| Description | Optical coherence tomographic angiography (OCT-A) is a powerful emerging tool for visualizing the microvasculature of the posterior pole in a laminar fashion with micrometer precision and in a non-invasive manner. OCT-A has been predominantly applied to the study of vascular retinopathies and glaucomatous optic neuropathy. We set out to explore the utility of OCT-A in the evaluation of non-glaucomatous optic neuropathies with the goal of providing pathophysiologic insight and advancing diagnostic capability. |
