| Description | A challenge when studying rare diseases is adequate subject recruitment. Prospective research registries are a useful tool for studying rare diseases by forming observational cohorts with which to study disease(1) and serving as a source of subject recruitment for future studies(2). We developed a neuro-ophthalmic patient registry in June, 2014. The purpose of this study is to critically assess recruitment patterns three months after registry implementation. |
