Led by a fourth-place finish from Hannah McInturff the 20th-ranked University of Utah cross country team finished third. The Utes scored 116 points for their third-place finish. The overall winner was Colorado with 49 points followed by New Mexico with 50 points. She finished with a time of 21:07.25 and was one of three Utes to earn all-region honors. Utah's second and third runners also earned all-region honors for their performances. Redshirt senior Susannah Hurst Spencer captured 20th with a time of 21:33.46. Sarah Feeny finished in 22nd, recording a time of 21:35.22. Jessica Sams crossed the line in 29th place with a time of 21:40.39. Senior Andrea Chavez, who was running with a heavy heart after recently losing her grandmother, recorded a time of 22:14.64 to earn 45th overall. Senior Jocelyn Todd earned 50th (22:21.26) followed by sophomore Shaylen Crook in 63rd (22:35.80). |
