| Description | Tamoxifen is an anti-estrogen drug used in the treatment of patients with breast cancer. Ocular toxicity is seen in the form of intra-retinal refractile crystals associated with macular edema, and occasionally from optic neuropathy. Optic neuropathy is largely reversible and rare cases of permanent visual impairment have been reported. |
