The Utes continue their success with all three throwers setting new personal records in the weight throw. Utah's Vanessa Mortensen set a new personal record in the weight throw with a third-place finish and a distance of (50' 11.50"). Freshman Beck Riddle also set a new personal record in the weight throw with a fourth-place finish and a 50' 6.00" distance. Sophomore Amber DeVries set a personal record in the weight throw with an eight-place finish and a distance of 46' 9.50". The 4x400 meter relay team posted a season best 3:56.34 finish and earned fourth place in the event. On the men's side junior Nephi Tyler finished fifth in the 800m (1:56.21). |
