UNIVERSITY OF UTAH HOSPITALS & CLINICS NAMED ONE OF 100 'MOST WIRED' HOSPITALS IN THE COUNTRY

The extensive use of technology at University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics has distinguished it as one of the country's 100 "most wired" hospitals, according to the April issue of Hospitals & Health Networks magazine. The publication, which is affiliated with the American Hospital Association, based its rankings on the use of technology in patient care, disease management, public services, billing, employee services, and supply management. The University of Utah was the only health system in the state mentioned in the rankings.
