Although atonic pupil is the cardinal feature in Adie's syndrome, it is recognized that involvement of the ciliary muscle may also occur. In their study on ciliary muscle dysfunction in Adie's syndrome, Bell and Thompson discussed two patients who had isolated accommodative involvement in an eye which had normal pupil reactions. |
