Description |
This property was originally the home for the five wives of Bill Hickman. The Hickman Fort was just west of the house and a home was built within walking distance of the fort for these wives. Each wife had two rooms with a dirt floor; the rooms were built together making it a very long house; Samuel Alexander Mackay bought the house in 1913 |
