Taft McNaughton was in business with Ren Samuels and decided to go in business for himself when he built Fisherman's lounge in 1965. located on 387 North Vernal Avenue. Pool tables were the mainstay of this establishment. It took several years for a beer license to be granted to this business and then it was only a Class A Beer License. This allowed them to build shelves and sell beer from the shelves in the "store". |
