Description A 26-year-old man developed sequential left-sided numbness, left hand clumsiness, severe headache, and left monocular visual loss over two hours. He was found to have multiple strokes within the anterior and posterior circulations on MRI, and ophthalmologic examination was consistent with acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy (APMPPE).
