Description |
The highest rates of syphilis are reported among homosexual men. Syphilitic optic neuropathy is relatively rare in immunocompetent individuals. We present a case of bilateral optic neuritis from neurosyphilis in an immunocompetent homosexual male which likely could have been prevented. |
