Abstract In two interviews, J.P. Gibbons (b. 1916) recalls the history of his company, Gibbons and Reed, which participates in mining, public works, highways, and commercial construction projects in Utah and other intermountain states. Accompanying the interviews is a 24-page illustrated history of the company. In addition, Gibbons discusses briefly his family history and community involvement. Interviewer: Everett Cooley
