Show rations and designate certain natural, or if need be artlticial, boundaries for the same, aud report such action to theeDapartmeot, to be submitted to Congress for final ap-proval, so that the boundaries of such reservations may be accurately established by law. That the agents for these reservations be xnthorbed to promise the Indians that orie cow will be ziwn to each Iudipu family settling ou these reservations sn-nually for a. term of two yenm subsequeut to that in whioh the first issue of cattle is mad8 Fifth. Also that the agent8 for thoae reservations be nuthorieed to promise the Indians that $10,000 will be expended annually on the Mo'-&-pa reservation, $0 000 annually on the Uintah reservation, $15,400 snnnally on the Fort Hall reservation, and $10,000 annnaily on the Malheur ~wservationf or suoh n term of years as may be nccesemy to give each Indian family a house, to exosed in cost not more than $200; but that auoh cost shall not include the lobor bevtomed upon the same by the Indian himself. That should any of these Indians prefer to go to any othel. of those rescrva-tiana than that to which they have been aaeigned in the foregoing report, or to the reservation st Wind River, the Secretary of the Interior shall have the authority to transfer the proper proportion of these appropriations from the account of thereserva-tioa to which it has been specially appropriated, to suoh reservation as the Indians may eleet-provided the Secretary of the Interior shall approve of such election. While we were at Salt Lake City, completing plms for the operations of the snmmer, Colonel Morrow was ooofined to his roucn by nevere siokness, and his phyeician thonght it unwise for us to hold aoy consultation with him, bnt we availed oorselves of his wise oonusel to the limit of our opportunities. To many of the citizens of Utah andNevada we nreindebted for information, advice, and asaistsnee, and wa &re plesaed here to state that ao met everywhere with the most hearty oo-operation from tho better class of people.
