ISO by Corey Roach Updates: not a lot unexpected going on right now. New IE exploit (it's not that novel). There are some interesting mitigation methods: killbits for Active X and DLL patch associations are new solutions - ISO will publish them. Some weird Mac hacks - random ports on IPs that don't exist with poorly engineering virus. Let Corey see any Macs that are acting funny. Botnet 101: Please discourage your folks from sending IRC traffic in clear text to help ISO find the botnets. Botnets aren't innocuous anymore - being done as criminal activity to make money.
