Abstract McMurrin (b. 1914) recalls his association with Henry Eyring at the University of Utah during the 1940s-1970s, discusses Eyring's tenure as dean of the Graduate School, comments on University events and its administration and Eyring's religious beliefs, and recounts his own experiences with the Mormon church and certain Mormon authorities.
